Sarah + Ed | Wedding Photography | Provenance Wines & Barwon Heads

Sarah’s and Ed’s wedding was something else. We can’t express how happy we feel that we were able to be a part of this small and intimate day at Provenance Wines, in Geelong and later on in Barwon Heads.

With 10 guests in total (including Sarah and Ed!) we totally felt part of a top secret wedding team!

These two planned their day in Geelong for only the closest family members because their bigger wedding celebrations were to take part later on in Italy and some couldn't make it all the way to Europe.

Everything (and we mean like, totally everything!), starting with Sarah and Ed, to Grandmas/bridesmaids’ flower crowns and bouquets, to the meticulously made-by-Sarah wedding cake (which even had a pattern on the icing and just look at those flowers decorating it… we can’t even…), to Ed’s jacket’s inside print of balloons and Sarah’s dresses, was stunning.

But the most beautiful of all was… (it sounds cliché but we promise it was not!) the family love flowing all around! With Sarah’s grandpa walking her down the aisle and Sarah’s and Ed’s grandmas walking as bridesmaids, plus their amazing mums giving beautiful readings, we couldn’t help it but be seriously moved by their close-knit families.

Everything happened at Provenance Wines - a stunning wine cellar in Fyansford, Geelong. As Ed & Sarah wanted to make the most of the lunch with their family, we decided to have only a short 15-minute portrait session around Provenance and make some time for the rest of the bride & groom session just before the sunset in Barwon Heads, since it was a place close to their hearts and where Ed often spent his childhood summers.
