When we entered Laura and Riccardo's house, we saw baby Nora's older sister - Olivia. She looked at us quite seriously as we tried our hardest to make the best first impression to her. Naturally Hanna asked Olivia:
How are you today?
To be honest, neither of us expected an answer because we're pretty used to the kiddies being shy and taking their time to warm up to us. Well... To our surprise, Olivia's whole face beamed with a huge smiled and the room filled with her calm and very deep:
GOOOOD!
As it turned out, Olivia wasn't shy at all and her impeccable manners and confident attitude made the whole session such an enjoyable experience for everyone. Because yes, it is a newborn session focused on the littlest one, but everyone with a toddler or a little kiddo knows, that a newborn session is highly dependent on the mood of the siblings too!
Nora, the star of the day, had the most beautiful head of black hair and loved snuggles with mum, Laura, and dad, Riccardo. Even though she wasn't quite sure about our bean bag at first, eventually after a feed, a nappy change and after we swaddled her and rocked her, she drifted off to sleep and let us capture some stunning portraits that we hope she'll love looking back on when she's older :)
