Lachy, Dan and Ernie in Barwon Heads


Zach and I met Lachy and Dan for their pre-wedding family session in Barwon Heads, with their beautiful boy, Ernie — who was just over one year old at the time.


We had such a great afternoon together, wandering through the Moonah trees and driving up to the 13th beach.


Lachy and Dan are two of the kindest and most genuine humans — warm, funny, and so full of joy. We spent as much time chatting and laughing as we did photographing, talking about travel, parenthood, and the places we’ve each called home for a while. At the time, I was also pregnant with Runo, and I appreciated so much how lovely and caring they both were.


Sessions like this remind me how special it is to photograph families who are truly connected, fun and full of love.
